Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani: Ranaji rescues Rani Gayatri from getting disrobed by goons!
In the recent episode, we saw Gayatri (Drashti Dhami) eagerly waiting for Ranaji to arrive to her parental home to usher her back to the palace after the pak-phere ritual. However, after getting tired of waiting for Ranaji, Gayatri sneaks out of the house to have fun with the children. She gets on a bicycle and hits the road to enjoy the pleasant weather.
Gayatri’s enjoyment is short-lived as a few goons hired by Ranaji’s cousin brother attack her. The goons force Gayatri to disrobe herself. Gayatri gets angry with the henchmen and gives a tight slap to the man who speaks to her. Gayatri starts running to save her life, and surprisingly, she runs into Ranaji atop his horse. The goons run away beholding Ranaji, while Gayatri gets relieved to see him.
She watches him lovingly and thanks him for coming in the nick of time to rescue her. Ranaji says that it was his duty to save her and together they make way for Gayatri’s parental home for the pak-phere.
At Gayatri’s father’s place, Raj Mata arrives with her chief attendant and Kunwar Laksh (Ranaji’s cousin) to make-up for Ranaji’s absence. Gayatri’s parents and relatives get surprised to see Ranaji missing and remark that without him the ritual will be incomplete. However, Ranaji lands at the haveli with Gayatri in tow. Gayatri explains to everyone that Ranaji saved her from the goons when she was attacked by them during her outing with the children. Ranaji thinks why his destiny brings him on the path which he is so vehemently avoiding.
The pak-phere ritual is done and Gayatri leaves for the palace with her husband and in-laws. At the palace, Gayatri is chided by Badi Rani Ma (Surekha Sikri) for venturing out all alone without taking the bodyguards with her.
She remarks that Gayatri is the most precious jewel of the Royal clan of Amerkot and hence, she can’t live the way she did when she was in her parental home. She commands Gayatri to live with dignity and be careful in taking every step of hers.
Later, Kunwar Rani Kokila, her husband Kunwar and their son Laksh plant to mix an intoxicant in Gayatri’s food to make her act silly at the Raj Bhog bash. Will their plan work or fail miserably like their previous ploys? Tune into Pinkvilla Telly to know.
