Ajinkya Rahane, with his proficient batting had made a mark in International cricket and is now an integral part of India’s test team. This batsman has a batting average of 40.55 in tests and 35.26 in ODI. However, this Indian batsman who played his last ODI in 2018 against South Africa is not a part of India’s 15 player’s squad for the World Cup. Despite that, he went out to cheer for the Indian Team in their first World Cup match against the Proteas.

India’s opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan who will play a crucial role in India’s batting in the World Cup 2019 tournament tweeted, “Happy birthday Ajju! Have a great year ahead.. @ajinkyarahane88”



Commonly addressed as the God of Indian cricket, Sachin Tendulkar posted a picture with the Indian batsman and tweeted, “Happy birthday @ajinkyarahane88! Good luck for your 1st county stint at Hampshire.”



Manoj Tiwari also posted a picture with Rahane and tweeted, “Happy birthday @ajinkyarahane88 Hav a super year ahead. May God always bless u. Keep rocking.”



Ishant Sharma tweeted, “Happy Birthday Jinxx!!! God bless you!! Stay young and kicking forever!! @ajinkyarahane88.”



India will play its next World Cup match against Australia on Sunday, 9th June at The Oval, London.
