In match 11 of the ongoing ICC World Cup 2019, Pakistan will lock horns with Sri Lanka at Bristol on Friday. Both the teams after displaying disappointing performances in their opening games came back strongly in the second match. Pakistan knocked down the hosts in what was a shock win after their trembling show against West Indies. The Men in Green posted a mammoth total of 348 runs while batting first and then bowlers did the job by restricting strong English batting line-up.

Pertinently, Sri Lanka faced a crushing defeat against New Zealand in the first encounter, however, they pulled off some very good performances against confident Afghanistan in the second game. Meanwhile, both the teams would eye a win to climb further up in the points table and gain the much-needed rhythm ahead of the upcoming games. Here is how weather and pitch conditions are expected to be for tomorrow's match at Bristol.

Weather report

There were predictions of rain in England during most of the games of the World Cup, however, the weather has been quite supportive thus far. Though there could finally be some interruption as it’s most likely to rain throughout the day tomorrow at Bristol. The Pakistan-Sri Lanka match even if commences will probably be a rain-hit one. The temperature is predicted to range from 12-17 celsius while the humidity will be in the 90s at the venue.

Pitch conditions

The pitches at the County Ground have been mostly on the flatter side. The batsmen enjoy to play at Bristol and hence tomorrow’s match could also be a high-scoring encounter. Though with rain expected, things might turn out to be different. Both the teams will keep the D/L method in mind before making any decision at the toss.
