India vs South Africa, World Cup 2019: Kedar Jadhav's return a big booster for India
India's streetsmart batsman and one of a kind bowler, Kedar Jadhav on Wednesday finally wore again that Blue jersey after being out of the scene for a while.
Kedar made it to the Indian playing XI against South Africa in their first match of ICC World Cup 2019, undoing all the deliberations about his injury.
Jadhav will be an important memeber of this squad as he brings in that three dimensional touch. He can bat exceptionally well down the order, bowl in the middle-overs and field at several positions as well. The right-handed batsman has been finishing the games for Men in Blue by batting at number six/seven. As the swashbuckler owns the skill of accelerating the strike-rate and play those out-of-box shots, his presence mostly make things complex for the opposition.
The Maharashtra native had though recently injured himself just ahead of the World Cup. However, he recovered well on time and made it to the final squad. The flamboyant cricketer also missed out the two warm-up matched but luckily for India, he is all fit and playing the opening match.
The Kohli and Co will surely be cherished with his return as it made them go with just four mainstream bowlers, while he and Hardik can share as fifth one. The off-spinner has troubled several batsmen with his orthodox bowling and if gets India a few wickets in the middle, it would be more than great for India.
Meanwhile, India got off to a spectacular start as Jaspirt Bumrah striked early, removing both the openers at a paltry score.
