After Kohli won the toss and asked the opposition to bat first, the hosts were all out for 204 runs in 46.5 overs. Shardul Thakur with figures of 8.4-0-52-4 was the star performer with the ball.
In reply, Kohli got to his 35th ODI hundred as he and Ajinkya Rahane piled on 126 runs for the third wicket. India sealed the game in 33 overs.
