Indian fans were on a high after the team restricted South Africa to only 227 runs in their 50 overs. The supporters had huge expectations from Virat Kohli, who had the distinction of scoring a hundred in the opening games in the 2011 and 2015 World Cups. However, he disappointed as he struggled in his stay at the crease and was eventually dismissed for 18 in 34 balls.
