He commenced his journey from the Ranji Cricket and went on to be a part of the Indian Premier League. In 2016, he was selected for the Indian squad and then finally made his mark in the World Cricket to become the no. 1 bowler in the One Day International.
It all started back in 2013, when Bumrah made his first class debut for Gujarat and ended up being the leading wicket taker for the team. However, it was at the IPL where he made an impact and managed to take 3 wickets in a match against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Even though he played just a few matches back then, he quickly became a regular part of the team. With his consistency and exceptional bowling, Bumrah was retained by Mumbai Indians and is now an integral part of the team.
In 2016, he made his T20 as well as ODI debut and became the key player in the death bowling for the men in blue.
