Vikrant who plays a pivotal role in Deepika Padukone starrer Chhapaak recently attended the trailer launch. During an interaction with media, Vikrant mentioned that firmly believes what Meghna has to say regarding cinema which has a very critical role in the country, as it could be inspiring and influencing at the same time, which depends on the filmmakers and the actors, to execute it efficiently. When it comes to cinema viewing, he strongly believes, entertainment is important for the country, but it needs to be done responsibly. He also added that social and collective responsibility is not only necessary from the filmmakers and the writers while making the statement that cinema is actually a reflection of our society, the time we live in. When asked if he’s had any emotional breakdown moments, he says he did take back a lot of things home, and admits to retaining certain values, despite being a thick skinned person.
