Varun Dhawan speaks up about the CAA protests
Street Dancer 3D actor Varun Dhawan gives his views about the CAA at the Street Dancer 3D trailer launch event. Must check it out.
Varun Dhawan recently attended the trailer launch event of his upcoming dance film Street Dancer 3D. At the event, he was asked by a journalist about his views regarding the CAA protests that have been going on in the country. When asked if he will be taking to the streets to protest with the students, he said, “What’s happening in the country is being reported. The reason why I don’t want to comment exactly on what’s happening is because there are four-five versions floating. We are sitting here in Mumbai, right now something else is happening in other parts of the country. It’s wrong of us to comment about what’s happening over there until we don’t see that, until we are 100 per cent aware what’s happening.” Besides this, the actor condemned the use of force against peaceful agitation but said there were also reports of law and order issue from different parts of the country. On the work front, the trailer of Street Dancer 3D has been released and is being received very well by the audience. The cast consisting of Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fatehi, directed by Remo D'Souza and produced by Bhushan Kumar (T-Series) will be releasing worldwide in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam on 24 January,2020.
