In a candid conversation at IFFI 2018, Varun’s father disclosed that he never knew about Varun’s liking for acting. Spilling the beans on his son’s celluloid journey, he further revealed that he always had planned on getting his son employed in a bank. Varun Dhawan added that it’s a true story because he even gave an interview for one! Despite being director David Dhawan’s son, Varun never insisted his father to make a film for him. He rather chose a different route and paved a way for himself.
