The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) released IPS officer Vinay Tiwari on Friday, who was "forcefully quarantined" by the civic body after the officer arrived in Mumbai from Patna to investigate the death case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. A day after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday took over the probe from Bihar Police in Sushant Singh Rajput death case, the BMC has allowed Bihar IPS officer Vinay Tiwari to be released from quarantine.
