Responding to gender inequality, a “misogynistic mindset” and stereotypes that continue to thrive in our society, Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor gave Kareena and Shahid’s example. She said Kareena Kapoor Khan is setting an example as she has worked post her marriage as well as pregnancy while the men never have to face such questions. The actor was speaking at the trailer launch of Veere Di Wedding where she was asked if she will continue working after she gets married. ‘Shahid Kapoor ki shaadi ho gayi kisine usse pucha ‘if he’s gonna work or not work’?, said the actress.
