After winning the Miss World 2017 crown, Manushi Chhillar showed that she is a beauty with brains! In February 2018, the model and actress became a part of ‘Beauty With A Purpose’ project and helped to create awareness on menstrual hygiene. Spilling the beans on how she was inspired to choose this project, she said, “I studied in Haryana to see the other side of life as a medical student, and got to know how women didn’t have enough money to buy sanitary pads and would often use old rags or a piece of cloth during periods.” She further threw light on the debatable topic of taxes levied on sanitary napkins.
