Kareena Kapoor Khan arrived to give condolences to Veeru Devgn. Kareena Kapoor is close to Kajol and Kareena has acted with Kajol in movies We are family. Ajay and Kareena Kapoor have acted in Singham 2. Ajay Devgn's wife looked after her mother-in-law Veena Devgan. Most of the celebrities who turned up for the prayer meeting had worked with Veeru Devgan at some point while many were Ajay and Kajol's colleagues.

 
 Kareena ahead of her busy schedule made sure she was there for her friends in this time of sadness. Other celebrities the Bachchans and Raveena Tandon were present in the prayer meeting. Ajay's movie, De De Pyaar De was released recently and is doing great in the box office. The actor's daughter Nysa was in tears as she bid farewell to her grandfather. Salman Khan, who co-starred with Ajay Devgn in and London Dreams, attended the prayer meeting with his siblings Arbaaz, Sohail, and Alvira to support Ajay.
