Buddha actor gets Dr. Ambedkar Award
Buddha, the serial which was B. K .Modi’s dream went on air in September 2013 on Zee TV, traces the complete journey of Buddha from King Siddhartha to Lord Gautam Buddha.

Himanshu Soni who is playing the title role of Buddha recently got Bharat Ratna Dr. Ambedkar Award-2014 in Mumbai. Himanshu Soni said, "The response has been phenomenal.
