Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: After wedding, Jasmeet facing awkward situation in her husband’s traditional family
Jasmeet and Anshu have recently entered into matrimony, and much like any new bride, Jasmeet too is new to the ways of her hubby’s family.
In the latest episode, Jasmeet came under the scanner when Anshu told his family at dawn that she is still fast asleep. Of course this raised everyone’s eyebrows and Dhanlakshmi tried making a mountain out of a molehill. However, Akshara stood in Jasmeet’s support by making everyone understand that they should let Jasmeet be and give her ample space as she needs time for rest after the hectic wedding festivities.
In one of the next sequences, Jasmeet got caught in another awkward situation during worship hour when she admitted that she is unaware of any Hindi aarti or devotional song. Yet again, her new family accepted this with a smile and asked her to sing any devotional song in her native language.
Meanwhile, Jameet parents are missing their daughter at home and will be soon visiting her to take her back for the pak phera ceremony.
Looking at Jasmeet’s condition, we think that this is something that any bride has to experience, and more so, if it is an inter-community marriage. What really matters is the support the bride gets from her in-laws. And, Jasmeet is quite a lucky girl, we say!
