Yeh Hai Mohabbatein: Subbu is not what he is?
Until now we had seen Ishita’s (Divyanka Tripathi) ex-boyfriend Subbu aka Dr. Subramanium (Amit Tandon) behaving nicely with all and helping the Bhallas get rid of many of their lingering life issues.
His love for Simmi’s daughter Ananya was appreciated by the Bhallas. And in no time, Simmi and Subbu agreed to tie the knot at the behest of Bhalla family.
In the recent episode, we saw Subbu and Simmi getting engaged the South Indian way in the presence of the Bhallas, Subbu’s MIL Ms. Sujata and his biological mother. It gets decided that Subbu and Simmi shall get married after a month.
Subbu’s mother asks the Bhallas to arrange the wedding as per South Indian customs and the latter gladly agree to comply.
Later, to our shock we see Subbu behaving aggressively and losing his cool while hearing the name Lakshmi. Ms. Sujata tries pacifying him and asks him to beware lest his secret is out before they fulfill their purpose. Apparently, Subbu is consciously trying to hide a secret aspect of his personality from others and is up to something fishy.
On the other hand, Shagun lands at the engagement ceremony of Simmi and Subbu to meet Adi To her surprise, she finds ACP Abhishek present at the function. The ACP introduces himself as Subbu’s pal and recalls meeting Shagun in the police station regarding her missing passport and her trip to Australia to see her ailing mother. Mihir and Raman get shocked to know about Shagun’s idea to visit Australia. Mihir being Shagun’s brother wonders why she did not inform him about their ailing mother. Shagun somehow manages to beat a hasty retreat from the function to avoid inviting trouble for herself. However, Ishita gets suspicious about Shagun’s intentions.
We also see Raman expressing his wish to father his biological child with Ishita. She gets happy to know about his intentions.
Now all we have to see in the forthcoming episode is what mask Subbu is wearing. Also, whether or not Shagun succeeds in eloping with Raman’s children to Australia.
