Yeh Hai Mohabbatein: Shireen Mirza all set to roll in Ekta Kapoor's next!
Ekta Kapoor has roped in a new girl from Jaipur in her upcoming serial - Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. What's the story like? Well, Ekta's hunt for a typical Punjabi girl who is bubbly and chirpy, upfront and extrovert - ended at Shireen Mirza. There is a lot that you can play around with in the character and thus it was very spontaneous for Shireen to adapt to the role.
Shireen debuted in Bollywood with the movie 'Main Nahi Anna' but has now turned her eyes towards the small screen. Also seen in '24' as a news reporter and having hosted the kids reality show 'Apka Sapna Hamara Apna' with Ali Asgar, Shireen is quite comfortable with the screen and the lenses!
DidYouKnow: Shireen Mirza graduated from Maharani College in English and Dramatics also did theater in Jaipur for quite some time. Shireen always wanted to be an actor ad started this career with an English film - Not Today, which was showcased at various film festivals.
