Bigg Boss Day 29: Housemates end up slamming foam on each other’s face to nominate; Gautam-Sonali get cosy!

Day 29 in Bigg Boss and housemates wake up to the beats of the energetic song from ‘Rang De Basanti’ – ‘Masti Ki Paathshaala’. The day begins with planning, plotting, gossiping and nominating.

While Karishma, Puneet and Praneet talk about captaincy of Ali and how they plan to make Ali work once he becomes a normal member, Ali punishes Praneet, Arya and Sonali for entering the house late from the garden area. The trio then takes to singing to irritate Ali and he does get irritated.

In the afternoon, Bigg Boss announces nominations for the coming week’s evictions. The contestants face an open nominations process where every contestant has to nominate two contestants by putting a plate of foam on their faces. The dreaded nominations process makes the contestants realize who their true friends are and who their enemies are, in fact.

Sonali, at first, announces that as putting foam on someone’s face is extremely derogatory she would not participate in the process and would at most apply a little foam on their cheeks. However, as the nominations process began, it became clear that the contestants had been holding grudges with their so-called friends in the Bigg Boss house. Sushant, Preetam, Diandra. Take a look:

Gautam: Soni, Minissha

Soni: Gautam, Sonali

Sushant: Gautam, Praneet

Diandra: Sonali, Gautam

Praneet: Soni, Minissha

Upen: Minissha, Sonali (she refuses to take a foam and allows very little)

Sonali: Soni (she slams it on her face), Arya (even after much request from Arya, she slams it on his face as well.

Nominated: Diandra, Sushant, Preetam, Sonali, Minissha, Gautam and Soni

Puneet, Praneet and Sushant discuss about Minissha and Arya talking to each other in spite of their differences. Sonali and Praneet talk about stupid reasons that most of the contestants gave while nominating. Karishma, Soni and Diandra again make Sonali their topic of discussion for the way she slammed foam on Soni’s face.

Ali tries to talk to Minissha and cheer her up as she was not happy the reasons housemates cited to nominate her. The reason being: She is inside with a plan.

Sushant enacts Sonali’s slamming foam on Soni incident on Soni herself and both have a LOL moment.

After the 'vaar' of open nominations, Bigg Boss gave a new task in order to change the mood of housemates. The task at hand was for Pritam, an ace RJ, to host a special show called ‘Mudda Preetam Pyaare Ka’ where he takes up the mantle of entertaining the housemates.

The day ends on a romantic note. Late in the night, Sonali talks to Gautam in front of Praneet in the living room area. Sonali deliberately starts speaking to Praneet while Gautam listens, stating that she is not able to speak to Gautam about anything as she don’t know what he is thinking, clearing hinting to Gautam that she is starting develop feelings towards him. Praneet then supports Sonali and asks Gautam as to why he is not saying anything to her about his feelings. Gautam simply dismisses the matter while saying, “Sabar ka phal meetha hota hai!”. Praneet then tells Gautam that, “Kabhi kabhi sabar karte karte phal pak jaata hai aur agar who sahi time per toda nahi gaya toh toot ke gir jayega!”

Gautam, however, pays heed to Praneet’s comment says that he will try to do something about it. Sonali then stands up and walks away telling Gautam that she is waiting for him. Gautam asks her to leave and that he will join her in a while. As the lights turn off, Gautam and Sonali are seen spending quality time together share the same bed.
