Bigg Boss 8: Diandra’s 5-year wait ends, Natasa eager to entertain and Sushant's message!
So finally the ‘Bigg’ wait is over. After an entertaining introduction about the contestants, Pinkvilla caught up with a few contestants just before they entered the house and they spoke about how they have prepared to survive in a house full of cameras, their strategies and what they’ll miss the most while being inside the house.
Excerpts:
Diandra Soares, (Indian supermodel):
I have been waiting for the past five years for this chance! Can you imagine? Discussions have been on with the board for so long and finally I have the opportunity to get into the house. I don’t have any strategy as such. But I’ll go with the flow. And as I am from modelling background, handling cameras would be easy. If any fight erupts, I’ll try myself not to get involved. I’ll be mentally alert. Also I hope there will be some hot guys in the house. I have been single for past 12 years…so I hope I get lucky.
(Guys are you listening?) And the girls should be fun; we can enjoy our time together. I’ll though miss my family. But having been away for work for so many years, staying away won’t be that difficult.
Natasa Stankovic, Siberian model (last seen in Bollywood film ‘Satyagraha’):
I only said ‘yes’ to Bigg Boss because I want to learn Hindi and show off my dancing skills. Learning Hindi is a big challenge. Also I want to test my own strengths and there is no better way of doing it by performing the tasks. By nature, I am friendly so I think I’ll make a few friends there. I love the camera so much that, I don’t mind waking up every morning without make-up in front of it. My only request to audience is they like me, and I promise to entertain them.
Sushant Divgikar, (Theatre artist and Mr Gay 2014):
I am very nervous but excited as well. Bigg Boss is going to be a completely different experience for me. I am going there to represent the LGBT community. After winning so many pageants, I felt this would be the best platform to speak about us. I want to be a role model for our community. I want to entertain people by being my own self. As there would be so many people from different backgrounds, there would be clashes. And if a fight breaks out in the house, as I am a psychologist, I think I can control the situation calm others as well as myself. I will miss my family though, my parents the most.
