Comedy Nights with Kapil: Kapil and Sunil finally solve the 'Gutthi'
The battle between the copyrights of 'Gutthi', which had turned ugly in the past few weeks, has finally come to an end over a cup of coffee.
Remember how Sunil Grover aka Gutthi, was sent a legal notice by the makers of Comedy Nights with Kapil, when the former's motive of enacting Gutthi's role on another show came to light. The legal notice surely ended up miffing an already upset Sunil who claimed that Gutthi was indeed his brainchild.
In order to take on Kapil's show, Sunil signed up with a new show to be telecast on Colors' rival channel. But now, Kapil and Sunil have settled the matter amicably so that their respective shows suffer in the gamble.
Fresh word has it that Sunil had decided to telecast his new show at the same time as Kapil's show goes on air. But, the plan has changed now as the duo has realised that this step would cost them their TRPs. “Sunil has decided to not take on Comedy Nights With Kapil. Though Sunil’s show would be formatted like Kapil’s show it won’t be telecast at the same time,” a source was quoted as saying to the media persons.
All this means brings us to the conclusion that the 'Gutthi' of Comedy Nights has finally been sorted.
