Mahabharat gets another extension?
There has been a strong buzz that Star Plus' Mahabharat would be coming to an end some time in July with the end of the battle of Kurukshetra is over.
However according to Thakur Anoop Singh, who plays the role of Dhritrashtra - the blind king, Mahabharat has been granted an extension till September 2014. The show, which boasts of a massive fan following, had also been granted an extension of 100 episodes in January 2014.
Anoop posted the news on his Twitter account and gave credit for the extension to the love and support of the show's fans.
Mahabharat stars actors like Saurabh Raaj Jain as Krishna, Shaheer Sheikh as Arjuna, Arav Chowdhary as Bhishma Pitamah and Pooja Sharma as Draupadi among others.
