Diya aur baati hum : Sooraj helps Sandhya come up with a plan!
In Star Plus' 'Diya aur baati hum', Meenakshi tries looking for Kanha whom she had left at a vegetable vendor’s cart and spots him with the vendor himself. However the vendor tells her that it is his son and does not pay heed to any of her threats. Meanwhile Sandhya tells Zakir that the traffic rules violation cases have only decreased 1/4th from their original number in the past 4 days. Zakir tells her that she has to make sure to get this number to zero as per the challenge.
Meenakshi comes home and tells Sooraj and Bhabho that the vegetable vendor has taken Kanha and takes them to him. Sandhya tries to make a man understand that he should not have given his underage son a motorbike but he is dismissive of her advice and tells Sandhya that he will pay whatever fine charged off his son. Bhabho shouts at the vendor and threatens him with police action when the vendor explains to her that he was only trying to teach a lesson to Meenakshi as she indulges in stealing vegetables from his shop. He tells Bhabho that he did this only to hurt Meenakshi where it would matter the most to her so as to make her understand her folly. Bhabho scolds Meenakshi who asks for forgiveness from her.
Sooraj gets an idea from all of this about hurting someone where it matters the most to them to make them see the right thing and shares it with Bhabho who tells him to share it with Sandhya. Emily writes a letter but using her left hand and decides to teach Meenakshi for shutting down her parlour. Chavi is upset because she has been given a lot of work when she is offered sweets by a lady who is pregnant and is going on a 9 month leave. She overhears men commenting on how pregnancy is a good excuse for women to take holidays and she gets an idea.
Sooraj goes to meet Sandhya and tells her his idea and that they should make people fear losing their families because of traffic violations as fear can stop a man from doing the wrong thing. Sandhya agrees.
In the upcoming episode, Sandhya will come up with a plan taking Sooraj’s idea and share with with the family but will her plan succeed?
