Diya Aur Baati Hum: Sandhya receives a grand welcome in Pushkar
Sandhya gets a hearty welcome in Pushkar. In the latest episode of Star Plus' show Diya aur Baati Hum, we saw how Sandhya after attaining her dream to become an IPS officer comes back to her home town. Everyone in the family goes to the local electricity board as there is no light, they request the officer there to provide them with electricity only for few hours as they have to welcome their daughter in law. But the officer refuses and behaves rudely.
On the other hand, Suraj has brought his wife Sandhya but both are disappointed to see that there is no electricity. Sandhya is sad to see few girls studying under Gandhi Ji's statue. She decides to give a call to the electricity office and finally that officer listens to her request as soon as he comes to know that she is the newly appointed ASP of Pushkar.
Sandhya finally enters her house street where the entire neighborhood showers flowers to welcome her. Bhabho is eager to meet her daughter in law. She is proud to see her in IPS uniform. Few ladies comment on her uniform but Bhabho shut their mouths by saying that today is the happiest day of her life and its a moment to cherish Sandhya's home coming, other things are frivolous to talk about.
Sandhya comes in the house, we see her in saree and pallu again. She detects that something is wrong with Emily's beauty parlor and asks Bhabho. She finally comes to know the truth that Emily's parlor has been shut down by the authorities as she was using expired products on customers. Sandhya is shocked!
In the upcoming episodes, audiences will get to see Sandhya trying to cope up with her old house hold job. It will be interesting to see how Sandhya manages office and house together?
