Diya aur Baati Hum: January 14, Will Sandhya cut her hair?
Meenu leaves her son Kanha to go save her biological daughter who lives with the neighbor. Kanha falls and hurts his head. Vikram sees this and can't take Meenu's mistakes in his stride any more. Meenu tries to tell him he only did this to save the neighbor's daughter from the fire but Vikram says that a woman who can't take care of her brother-in-law's daughter would definitely never love her own son alone and try to save the neighbor's daughter. He told her he's had enough and asks her to go stay with her mother.
She begs him not to do this to her and she says that she won't ever be careless again. In anger he tells her that their relationship is over. She pleads him to not say such things to her and tries to explain that this was just a mistake and she's being honest.
Meanwhile, at the training, Sandhya and her team mates have been given the task to complete an obstacle course. The rest of the team has to wait until each cadet has completed the course. In the last set, Sandhya's hair gets stuck in the barbed wire and all her team mates complete the course.
Her supervising officer reaches where she is stuck and untangles her hair. Once she's completed it, the supervising officer yells at Sandhya for her callous attitude towards the training. She tells her that on the first day itself, she told all the cadets that they are to make sure that nothing stops them from being the best. She then points out that Sandhya's hair has come in the way of her training and orders her to cut it to not an inch longer than her neck.
