In Star Plus' 'Diya aur baati hum', Zakir directs Babasa and Meenakshi in their skit on traffic rules violations and everyone is happy with their work. Babasa is in the role of Yamraj while Meenaskhi plays the widow of a man who died due to negligence while driving. Sooraj also plays the role of a Lord. He gives the message of how important it is to obey traffic rules not just for one’s own self but also for the happiness of their family and friends. Everyone compliments Sooraj. They decide to name their film as ‘Safar Zindagi Ka’. Sandhya thanks the entire family for their help and Sooraj wishes Sandhya all the best for this film. Everyone hopes that it will help decrease the traffic violation cases. Meenakshi taunts Emily about Mohit and she feels bad.

Next day everyone is excited as the posters of the film is going to be released and they want to see how they appear on it. Sandhya asks her team that they will observe 'Smile and serve' day and tells them to bring anyone who violates the traffic rules to her without asking them for a fine. She meets all the violators in a special room which is equipped with many computers and everyone is confused and angry about being held back but Sandhya tells them that if they wish to leave they can do so without their bikes/cars as she has their keys.

The upcoming episode will see the people being unaffected by the film and start to leave midway but Sandhya will stop them and inform them that they cannot leave without watching the entire film. Will Sandhya succeed in this task of hers? Or will everyone’s efforts go to waste?
