Exclusive Interview: Aishwarya Sakhuja’s marriage plans

The young and vivacious leading lady of small screen Aishwarya Sakhuja answered few questions for Pinkvilla straight from the heart! Aishwarya who has proved her mettle by performing variety of roles is soon planning to get married to her long time love Rohit Nag. Her acting in Sony TV’s Main Naa Bhulungi has brought her huge accolades.

Are you going to cast your vote for upcoming elections?

Since my voter Id is from Delhi, I could not make it as I was shooting in Mumbai.

What is your say on the current political scenario of our country? Who should be the next PM?

Presently, we as youngsters need to understand the power that we have as voters and I'm glad people understand that now. The current state of affairs of our country looks sad but not all hope is lost. Our next PM should be an honest human being as that's what our country needs the most today.

Talking about your current show, how much are you enjoying the role of Samaira?

Its super tiring to be dolled up all day long but as a character, its super strong hence enjoyable.

Who is closer to your heart- simple, sweet Shikha Gupta or the bold Rockstar Samaira?

Ummm… I guess Shikha for her vulnerability and Samaira for her boldness and confidence.

How is your chemistry with Nigar Khan? Who is a chatter box you or her on the sets?

Nigar and me are friends but she's more of an advisor to me and that too a super honest one. She would be honest enough to tell me what's working for me and what's not and I love that about her! She is more of a fun kind and spontaneous while I'm more of a ponderer.

Your look is very young and fresh in the show, are you relieved as you don't have to wear heavy sari and jewelry?

Lol….I'm so used to saris that I now feel weird wearing 'young' clothes, but I like the compliments coming my way.

Do you follow any show on TV, who according to you is doing great in actresses?

Honestly, we don't get the time to watch even our own show due to mad erratic schedules.

When can we see you in any reality show?

Soon, I’m hoping!!

You got engaged to Rohit recently, when you are planning to get married?

We are planning to get married on 5th December 2014!

Where will the marriage take place, in which city?

It will be a winter wedding in Delhi.

Have you decided where to go for your honeymoon? Any dream destination?

Yes, we have thought of three options- Australia, New Zealand or Prague. My dream destination has to be Alaska!
