Smriti Irani is not coming back in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi-2
Producer Ekta Kapoor became the Queen of Indian television with her blockbuster show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi on Star Plus overnight. This daily soap changed the way serials were made. Numerous plastic surgeries, stealing each other's husband, Baa whose age crossed 150 years etc became the talk of the nation.
Ekta and her creative team applied each and every plot possible to raise the TRP of this show which actually made it Number One show for several continuous years. We told you earlier that she is bringing back this show very soon. Rumours have it that Ekta will be getting Smriti Irani to play the iconic character of Baa. But our sources have confirmed that Smriti will not be a part of the show, she is too busy in her political career and is not willing to take any TV projects as of now.
Ekta will be casting fresh faces for her epic show. It will be really interesting to see how KSBKBT- 2 will turn out. Will the new actors get the same popularity as old actors like Amar Updadhya, Smriti Irani, Apara Mehta, Ketki Dave! These names became household names. Till now Smriti Irani is called Tulsi by her fans.
