Vijayendra’s heroic feet to save Ishita from falling down off a cliff!
‘Shastri Sisters’ actor, Ishita Ganguly, had a narrow escape from a dangerous fall. All this happened during a camp scene shoot.
When Vijayendra Kumeria (as Rajat Sareen) and Ishita Ganguly (as Anushka Shastri) were shooting for a camp scene, they had a scene when the onscreen duo had to rappel across the gravel cliff. Ishita, scared of heights, was already nervous about the scene but as a thorough professional, stuck it out. When her harness almost gave way, her co-star Vijayendra's fast reflexes came into action and he immediately held her hand and saved her from falling down.
About Vijayendra’s heroic gesture, Ishita says, "Thank goodness for Vijayendra! Don't know what would have happened if he was not present!" Kudos to Vijayendra for his presence of mind.
