Father's Day Exclusive: Radhika Madan and Shakti Arora talk about that special man in their life!
The stars of ‘Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi’ had some good things to share about their respective fathers with Pinkvilla.com recently. Read on.
What is an outstanding quality of your father?
Radhika: “I like that my father is a very genuine person and speaks from the heart.”
Shakti: “My father has always been very supportive. He has stood by me even when I was nothing, told me to have patience and courage at moments when I felt depressed or unhappy.”
What is the most beautiful thing your father has done for you?
Radhika: “To choose one beautiful thing from the many is tough but If I had to pick one, I would say the time when I was little and my dad taught me how to ride a bicycle. I was so afraid to even put my feet on the pedal and when I inevitably did fall, my dad just told me to keep going- I’ll never forget that."
Shakti: “There was a time when I wanted to learn to play a musical instrument and was very keen to pursue it. I remember the very next day after I had told my father about it; he gifted me a piano for me. It was one of the sweetest moments I remember."
What are you going to do this father’s day?
Radhika: “I am sadly away from my father as he lives in Delhi with my family. But my brother and I have planned a big surprise for him and is making sure I won’t be missed by having a huge celebration for the day."
Shakti: “I plan on taking my dad out for dinner and buy him gifts of some of his favorite things perhaps."
