Mohammad Nazim aka Ahem Modi of ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’ becomes a Punjabi singer!
Mohammad Nazim has grown up as an actor with his popular TV series ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’ and wishes to pursue another passion that he has kept on the backburner for long time now.
He says, "I always had a flair for vocal music. Now, for the first time, I have recorded a few romantic songs which we are putting together. I haven’t taken any formal training in singing.”
Ask him if he decided to pursue this passion because of lack of variety of roles on TV and he replies, "I am ambitious and my acting career is stable, so I want to explore new avenues. I am doing a few Punjabi films and it makes sense if the lead actor can sing so that he can connect better with the audiences. I have done one punjabi film in the past. I am doing another one. It's a must for punjabi heroes to sing too to connect with the audience; that has been the trend. I am debuting as a singer for the first time with the album and that's very motivating and exciting. I will try singing in Hindi, too, in future. I had a desire to sing, so I went ahead with the idea.”
Nazim confesses taking inspiration from pro singer Shaan for his new endeavour. As for a music video for the song he has sung, the actor says that it will be shot very soon.
