POLL: ‘Jeanie aur Juju’, ‘Sanskaar’, ‘Main Na Bhoolungi’ – Which TV show should go off-air? Vote Now!
After the dismal performance of Sony TV’s ‘Kehta Hai Dil Jee Ke Zara’ starring Ruslaan Mumtaaz and Sangita Ghosh, the channel has decided to pull-off the serial from its schedule. Now, this news made us sit up and give a deep thought to the serials that have been running unrelentingly yet without garnering any good TRPs.
If we look at the dwindling TRPs of shows like ‘Main Na Bhoolungi’ (Sony TV), ‘Sanskaar’ (Colors), ‘Jeanie aur Juju’ (Sab TV), ‘Ek Nayi Pehchaan’ (Sony TV) and many more, we think that it is high time that these tele-series should think about shutting shop by taking cue from the makers of ‘Kehta Hai Dil…’.
Or else, if possible, they have to think about introducing better plots or marketing techniques to sell their show to the choosy viewers. There is no point simply wasting resources when you are not getting optimum results. Right?
