Rang Rasiya celebrates 6 month anniversary!
Colors' 'Rang Rasiya' celebrates its 6 month anniversary today. The show is the brain child of producer Saurabh Tewari and began its telecast on 30th December 2013. The makers and the fans are equally excited as Rang Rasiya completes 6 months of being on air.
Actor Ashish Sharma, who plays the role of Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat in the show, tweeted about the shows 6 months anniversary and thanked the creative minds behind it. Writer Gautam Hegde too expressed his gratefulness to the team of Rang Rasiya and its fans.
Rang Rasiya is the story of two lovers, Rudra and Parvati (played by Sanaya Irani), who have risen from ravaged pasts and have finally found love and support in each other. The show has an impressive ensemble cast with veterans like Ananya Khare, Sadiya Siddique and Kali Prasad Mukherjee leading the pack. Well etched out characters are the hallmark of Rang Rasiya.
While Rang Rasiya started with a relationship of hatred between Rudra and Paro with Rudra thinking of Paro as a conspirator against the nation while Paro finds him to be a ruthless cold blooded murderer of her innocent husband, love has gradually developed between the two, after revelations which put their earlier notions about each other to rest. They are now happily married. However danger and conspiracies still lurk around the two thanks to the fantastic negative and grey characters of Thakur Param Singh Tejawat (played by Tarun Khanna), Laila (played by Ankita Sharma), Mohini Kakisa (played by Ananya Khare) and her silly but devoted to his mother's devious plans son Sumer (played by Udit Shukla). And if all of them were not enough, a mystery man has now entered the lovers' lives to wreck havoc! His entry as the man who tried to throw acid on Paro send shivers down the viewers' spine!
Well with so many wonderful characters, story lines, a fantastic way of depicting them on screen and not to mention the sizzling chemistry between Ashish and Sanaya as Rudra and Paro, we surely hope that Rang Rasiya would continue to entertain its fans for a long time!
