What is Ahem Modi aka Mohammad Nazim of ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’ doing on Eid today?
Actor Mohammad Nazim, who we’ve better known as Ahem Modi of Star Plus’s ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’, keeps Roza every year no matter what happens. Last year he had distributed bicycles to production unit folks on Eid as a present, and this year too, he distributed T-shirts well in advance.
About his Eid rituals he said, "I keep Roza no matter how hectic shoot schedules are. Iftari is mostly on the set daily and I do it lavishly. I try to gift unit folks something every year. Eid is a good excuse. I like to see happiness on the face of production people. They slog throughout the year".
On being asked where he is celebrating Eid, he says, "I am in Malerkotla near Chandigarh, my hometown. Since six years, I have been celebrating Eid at my home with friends and family. This time a big function has been organized on Eid. Sheer korma, Sevaiyaan and other delicacies will be served. All my childhood friends and relatives will be present. I will be in my hometown for three days. I still love to receive Eidi from my mother, and of course I give to younger folks in the family too. The feeling of festival really makes me feel good as I keep roza every year without fail,” concluded the actor.
