Saath Nibhana Saathiya: Meera gets kidnapped by her boyfriend!
In the latest episode, we saw Gopi (Devoleena Bhattacharjee) scolding Meera (Tanya Sharma) for her rude behaviour and asking her to learn some basic manners. Meera gets all the more miffed with Gopi and vows to never apologise to her.
At dinner time, all the family members assemble to eat except Meera. They come to know that Meera has gone out without informing anyone. When everyone peep from the window, they see Meera speaking to someone on the phone at the gate of Modi mansion. However, an open roof jeep stops near her and two men pull her inside the vehicle. The Modis get shocked to witness Meera’s kidnapping and rush to save her. While Ahem drives the car to follow the men, Tolu and Molu chase the criminals on their motorbike. They miss their target by a hair’s breadth as he goons spread marbles on the road to put an end to Tolu and Molu’s chase. They duo’s bike slides as a result of the marbles and they too all on the road.
Ahem and Jigar halt the car to have a conversation with Tolu and Molu about their chase. They collectively decide to return home and wait for the kidnappers to contact them. On the other hand, Gopi anxiously waits for her daughter to be rescued. The women of the Modi house pacify her and ask her to be assured about Meera’s safety.
Once Ahem and others reach home, they receive a phone call from Meera’s mobile. In the video call, a helpless Meera urges her family to save her or else the kidnapper will kill her. The kidnapper disconnects the call alerting Ahem to avoid informing them police. Ahem thinks of seeking police help but Gopi warns him against doing so. An idea flashes in Kokila’s mind that they should check the footage in the CCV they had installed many years ago near the gate.
When the Modis check the CCTV footage, they get surprised to see Meera having a telephonic conversation with her boyfriend right before getting kidnapped.
