Saath Nibhana Saathiya: Kokila and Ahem vow to perform special Holy rites to save Gopi’s life!
In the recent episode of Saathiya, we saw Kokila (Rupal Patel) punishing Ahem (Mohammad Nazim) for belittling Gopi (Devoleena Bhattacharjee) always in the past. She debars him from performing her last rites after she dies and announces that if Gopi survives, she should do the funeral rites instead.
Ahem gets distressed to hear Kokila cursing him in such a way and pleads for mercy for his wrong deeds. Kokila, however, budges not and rebukes her granddaughter Meera (Tanya Sharma), too, for throwing her mother off the building out of sheer enmity. Meera defends herself saying that she did not do it intentionally but fails to convince Kokila. Kokila asks Paridhi too book flight tickets to Mumbai from her phone so that Ahem, his daughters and his mistress Mansi can fly away soon. However, Ahem seeks mercy for Kokila and requests her to allow him to be around Gopi.
Later, the Modi family is told by the doctors that no medicine or treatment is working on Gopi and they are finding it difficult to save her life. In a heartbreaking tone, Kokila says that Gopi has given up the hope to live after going through the hard times. However, Kokila resolves to perform Mahamrityunjaya mantra oblation till the time Gopi comes to her senses and calls her name. She makes haste and reaches a temple where she sits down to do the oblation all by herself. Ahem, to, insists on helping Kokila perform the sacred ceremony; but Kokila strictly asks him to leave and does not entertain his humble plea.
As Ahem stars walking on the road with a broken heart, he comes across a temple where he watches some women doing the Vat Savitri pooja. He asks the women the technique of doing the pooja but becomes a butt of their jokes instead. Paridhi comes in the nick to time to defend Ahem by informing the women that he wants to fast for the welfare of his wife who is on her deathbed. Paridhi promises Ahem to guide him in doing the pooja and helping him arrange the paraphernalia associated with it.
Will Ahem and Kokila be successfu in their noble endeavour?
