Saath Nibhana Saathiya: Ahem remarries Gopi and brings her home; Kokila gets ready for her ‘Griha Pravesh’!
In the recent episode, we saw Kokila (Rupal Patel) stubbornly disagreeing to Ahem (Mohammad Nazim) and Gopi’s (Devoleena Bhattacharjee) reunion on the grounds that he is not worthy of being a good life partner.
Ahem goes a step ahead to seek Kokila’s nod of approval by fetching the lamp from the hospital’s temple and going round it with Gopi to renew his marital vows. Kokila finally gets convinced and happy that Ahem is really serious about Gopi and will take care of her henceforth. Other members of the Modi clan such as Paridhi, Hetal, Jigar and Vidya also get happy to see Ahem and Gopi married once again. However, Gopi and Ahem’s elder daughter Meera (Tanya Sharma) witnesses the scene with an expression of bitterness towards Gopi on her face.
The Modis takes leave for the night and return home, while Ahem stays by Gopi’s side to look after her in the hospital. The next day, everyone reach the hospital to see Gopi. Ahem informs them that the doctor has given them the consent to discharge Gopi from the hospital. Happiness engulfs the Modi family as they hear the news from Ahem. Paridhi hands over the bridal finery, make-up and jewelry to prepare Gopi for the homecoming. Ahem offers to dress up Gopi and does so very lovingly.
As the couple leave the hospital ward to meet others waiting in the lobby, Hetal and Kokila get happy to see Gopi dressed so well by Ahem. Gopi reminds Kokila of the vow she had taken to welcome her home once Ahem is reunited with the entire family.
Kokila accepts Gopi’s plea and agrees to return home. Others gets happy and excited at the prospect of the grand family reunion.
Paridhi and Hetal arrive with Gopi and others to the Modi mansion and begin preparing for Kokila’s homecoming with the help of the young ones – Vidya, Tolu and Molu.
Paridhi visits Kinjal’s room, switches off the AC without her permission and asks her to leave the room as the room belongs to Kokila and they are expecting her to arrive home soon. Kinjal gets furious to be shown the door by Paridhi and gets worked-up with the fact that Kokila’s entry in Modi house would mean her exit from the mansion.
On the other hand, at the Chawl, Urmila gets mad to see Kokila packing her bags to re-enter the Modi mansion. She nudges her and stops her from going away. However, Kokila brushes her off angrily and says that she quietly bore her offensive behaviour for ten odd years out of sheer pity. But, looking at the fact that she has not shown any sign of improvement, it is good that she is sent to a mad house and given shock treatment for better recovery. Urmila gets petrified to hear Kokila speak boldly and lay strong emphasis on the shock treatment.
