Indraneil Sengupta, Umang Jain, Rohit Bakshi launch ‘Maharakshak Devi’!
When evil rears its ugly head, the heavens open up to send on earth their divine savior to rescue goodness. This forms the pivotal theme of Zee TV’s upcoming mythological series with a twist - Maharakshak Devi.
The show was launched yesterday with fanfare in Mumbai. The cast of the show attended the event and spread the word about it.
‘Maharakshak Devi’ is a story of a Goddess called Gauri (Umang Jain) who has been chosen for a holy role on earth. Her divine preceptor, Brihaspati Deva (played by Rohit Bakshi), trains her to take on the evil forces spreading like epidemic all over the planet. Brihaspati's sharp and calculative arch nemesis, the guru of demons, Shukracharya (Indraneil Sengupta) uses his skill to back the dark forces. What strategy will goodness employ to win over evil?
Famous actors such as Ankit Gera, Rushiraj Pawar and Kamalika Guha Thakurta will be seen playing key roles in the show.
