Jamai Raja: Siddharth puts love ring on Roshni
Mona ‘bua’ tries to make Durgadevi understand that Sid is Roshni’s love and only on this purpose she had told Roshni the truth. Durgadevi shouts at her saying how did she even dare to speak ill about her to Roshni. Durgavedi is about to slap Mona, but she stops herself. Mona ‘bua’ unperturbed says she’ll do anything for Roshni’s happiness and go to any extent. A fuming Durgadevi warns her to stay away from her daughter or else she’ll make Mona’s life hell.
Meanwhile, Roshni misses her father as she never got her mother’s or father’s love and calls herself an orphan. Seeing Roshni upset Siddharth tries to pacify her and surprises her by putting a ring on her finger. He tells her that now on both of them will share each other’s happiness and sadness. Hence, now they get engaged. For this purpose, Siddharth's mother calls a pundit to fix a date for Roshni's 'roka'. The pundit asks for Roshni's mother as she needs to be present to fulfill a few rituals. And Durgadevi's presence is veryy much required. As the day of ‘roka’ gets fixed, Roshni is upset as she knows her mother won’t be a part of it. Seeing her upset, Siddharth's mother decides to speak to Durgadevi and tries to fix the differences between the families.
