So far in Jamai Raja, we had seen Roshni (Nia Sharma) and Sid (Ravi Dubey) agreeing to live together for 3 months, before getting divorced, at the court’s behest.

Now, Roshni’s Nani (Apara Mehta) and Sid’s father Raj Khurana (Sanjay Swaraj) have joined hands to reunite the estranged pair. In the last few episodes, we saw Roshni re-entering Sid’s house like a new bride. Sid’s Biji too arrives from the pind to add humour in current track and making situations that would bring Roshni closer to Sid.

After the muh dikhai sequence, we saw Roshni and Sid warming up to each other and Kritika’s plans to run down Roshni being repeatedly foiled by twist of fate.

To develop cordial ties between both the families, Roshni’s Nani invites Sid’s family for lunch at the Patel residence. Sid’s Biji readily accepts the invitation much to Simran’s dismay. As the Khurana’s land at the Patel residence, their banter begins; as does Kritika’s mischiefs to bother Roshni. On the pretext of helping Roshni in kitchen chores, Kritika spills oil on the kitchen floor. As a result, Roshni slips on the floor and the food gets scattered everywhere. As Nani and Roshni panic about the mishap, Sid comes to their rescue by ordering Gujrati food from a nearby restaurant.

Everything goes well later and Kritika faces defeat.

Later, Yash arrives at the Patel house to meet Roshni. Sid and his Biji dislike Yash proximity to Roshni. They bid goodbye to the Patels and leave Roshni behind.

Roshni feels bad about the incident and makes it clear to Yash and her mom DD that no matter what equation she shares with Sid, she has to behave like his wife and a good Khurana bahu and hence would not appreciate such scenes getting repeated next time. DD gets baffled to hear Roshni speak such unusual words in Sid’s favour.
