Jamai Raja: Sid divorces Roshni to help DD get back her property!
In the recent episode of Jamai Raja, we saw DD being harassed by her landlord for failing to pay house rent. DD breaks down into tears and falls unconscious on the ground after trying in vain to plead mercy from the landlord. Mona and Roshni summon Sid to help them out.
A doctor is called pronto to examine DD’s condition. The doctor informs DD’s family that she has been stressing over family issues too much lately which is why her BP is high. Mona assures DD that since they have two sons-in-law, they will be bailed out of the crisis. Roshni finds unable to see her mother DD suffering in such way and goes rushing to the kitchen to give way to her tears. Sid follows her and consoles her that he will set everything right in the Patel household.
Later, Sid visits his mother Simran and confirms her decision to divorce Roshni but only if the Patels are given back their property. Simran gets happy with Sid’s decision and agrees to fulfill his condition.
The next morning, Roshni and Sid reach the family court where the judge asks them their verdict about the divorce plea they had filed three months back. While Roshni happily confirms her decision to be with Sid for the rest of her life, the latter makes it firm and clear that he is keen on divorcing his wife. The judge accepts Sid word as final and puts the stamp of divorce on the papers. Roshni watches the proceedings stupefied with Sid’s decision.
