Jamai Raja: Roshni baffled to discover the secret of her mother’s past!
In the latest episode of Jamai Raja, we saw Roshni’s mother DD ramming her car into an old man and bringing him home to avoid being caught by the police. DD recognises the man as her estranged husband who left her about 23 years ago.
DD throws a party at her home and invites all her friends and acquaintances over for a good time. Simran Khurana stops Sid from visiting DD’s party to meet Roshni but in vain. Sid gives her an excuse and leaves for the Patel residence. He arrives at DD’s bash despite not being invited. He loses her heart to Roshni upon seeing her dressed in a nice saree.
They begin flirting taking advantage of the opportunity and perform a couple’s dance. For a change, DD gets pleased to see them dancing together.
Next, the DD’s estranged husband takes her on stage to dance with her. However, DD’s mom lands at the party in the nick of time from the airport and gets baffled to see the duo dancing together. She rushes immediately to separate them and takes DD inside a room for a private talk. Nani questions DD to know why she brought her estranged husband to her house. Roshni hears their conversation and gets intrigued to know more about that man. She forces DD to tell her the truth. Finally, DD gives up her efforts to keep the secret and informs Roshni that the man is her father. Roshni reacts dramatically at DD’s response and asks her why she lied to her that her father was dead. DD stays mum to avoid telling the truth to Roshni.
In a fit of anger, Roshni packs her bag and starts walking out of the house to live with her father. However, Kesar and Sid stop Roshni and pacify her.
