'Rangrasiya' New Promo: Why are Rudra, Paro taking 8 vows of marriage?
Rudra (Ashish Sharma) is miffed with Parvati (Sanaya Irani) for having back stabbed him in th last few episodes.
Paro had eloped with Thakur Tejawat despite’ Rudra’s warnings as she hated the BSD officer who she believed to be a jallad (ruthless) for the way he treated her.
It was only after finding the doll in Rudra’s closet that Paro realized that he is in fact her childhood mate. So, Paro is back to Rudra to seek redemption for her error and his putting up with the barbs of his hatred. She is hell-bent on winning his trust and love but Rudra is reluctant to forgive her. So, basically it is the age-old Puranic Shiva and Parvati story that is playing on the show these days.
On the other hand, the makers have released a new promo of the serial that shows Paro and Rudra in a crucial scene. An angry Rudra tells Parvati - "Parvati Rudra Pratap Ranawat, I will never be yours"
He goes on to say, “Mandap bhi yehi. ...Havan kund bhi yehi....Saat vachan vishwaas ghath ke, aur aathva vachan mera….Rudra Pratap Ranawat aaj yeh vachan deta hai ke woh tera kabhi nahi banega Paro.” (This is the Holy altar of matrimony and this is the sacrificial fire. I give you the 7 vows of deceit and the eighth one that I won’t be one with you, ever!)
Well, actually Paro will be proposing marriage to Rudra but he will drive her to the altar with vengeance. He will marry her but with the promise to stay aloof from her. That is the 8th vow Rudra will be adding from his end. So, all in the entire track is unique because unlike the 7 sacred vows of Hindu marriage, there will be one more to be included as well.
