Down the two decades on the Indian Television, many actors have tried their best portraying the epic divine characters of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita.
The renowned film director Ramanand Sagar made a successful attempt in showcasing the Ramayana in on the small screen. Sagar’s version of the Holy epic worked wonders in enlightening the viewers to a certain extent during those times whilst entertaining the masses. Even till date, Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan is remembered as the best one till date.
Coming to the current times, we had Zee TV’s Ramayan and even NDTV Imagine came up with its own version. While Gagan Malik and Neha Sargam played Ram and Siya respectively in Zee TV’s series. TV actors and real life couple Gurmeet and Debina Choudhary tried their hand at playing the divine couple.
