Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya: Forced into a miserable marriage & widowhood, will Priya find solace in Amit’s warm embrace?
To realise one’s dreams is a blessing and not everyone is lucky to live the desired life. In today’s episode, an average college going girl called Priya will be shown struggling with extremely painful life conditions that come in the way of her cherished ideals and noble dreams.
Priya (Supriya Kumari) is a dedicated college student with keen interest in poetry and is determined to support the cause of education to uplift the poor. Amit (Gaurav Bajaj), her college mate, becomes fascinated by her after listening to her poetry. He approaches her and after a brief interaction, Amit learns about Priya’s interest in education for poor and asks her to join the students’ society. Priya immediately accepts the offer and befriends Amit.
One day, Priya rushes home to find her father almost on the death bed due to his serious ailment. Her nasty mother finds a good reason to get her married to a man not only older to her in age but also suffering from a health malady. When Priya puts her foot down on the match, her mother justifies her choice saying the chosen groom is rich and will provide them money to recover the cost of her father’s medical expenses.
Hence, Priya is forced to marry the old man at the cost of her dreams. Life after marriage turns out to be a nightmare for her as her husband soon dies. The society blames Priya for her husband’s death and sends her to a home for widows. Meanwhile, Amit, oblivious to Priya’s lot, comes across her on his sudden visit to the widows’ home to conduct a survey for his students’ society. He is shocked to see a heart-broken Priya putting up a brave front despite numerous odds. To save whatever shred of self-respect she has, Priya gives a cold shoulder to Amit and refuses to acknowledge his presence.
Amit is taken aback by the change in Priya’s behavior and situation- but the question is will he help Priya escape from her current scenario and start life afresh?
