EXCLUSIVE: Karan Sharma relives his experience on last day of 'Ek Nayi Pehchaan'
On the last day shoot of Sony’s ‘Ek Nayi Pehchaan’ (ENP), Karan Sharma shares his first time experience of playing the lead role in the serial with Pinkvilla.com. The show that started December last year is soon going off air…with a happy song and the actors, Krystle D'Souza, Karan Sharma, Poonam Dhillon and others are busy shooting for the scene.
Sharing his one-year experience in ‘Ek Nayi Pehchaan’, Karan said, “We were all very excited when the show started. As it was my first time as a lead, it was a learning experience for me. Had many memorable moments from the show.”
Karan will particularly miss his on-screen mom and dad played by Poonam Dhillon and Suraj Thapar. Speaking about them, he stated, “I will miss them the most. I will miss Poonam Dhillon’s motherly affection and the way we bonded.” Sharing a fun moment during the shoot, Karan said, “Once I had to say ‘I love you Ma’ and I had to retake the scenes many times only to realise that Poonam ji purposely did it.” About working with Krystle who played his better half in ‘ENP’, he pointed out: “Krystle is a wonderful co-star. Though we didn’t get to interact much after shoot, it was great working with her.”
After his last day on the sets of ‘ENP’, Karan is busy packing his bags to go Dehradun to meet his parents and spend some time. Talking about his plans post ‘Ek Nayi Pehchaan’, Karan informed, “Right now, I’ll take a break and go home. It’s been long time since I visited them (parents), hence now is the time.”
Karan is yet to decide on his next move. “I came to Mumbai to become a Bollywood actor but entry in Bollywood is not that easy. So definitely I’ll be working in a film or a new show that’ll interest me.”
We are definitely waiting for Karan’s comeback…soon!
