Rangrasiya: 15 January, Rudra puts Paro into custody
Paro is devastated to see that her husband has been killed at the hands of the BSD officer, Rudra. She mourns over Varun's body, unaware that she was being used as a bargaining chip. Rudra walks towards her to kill her too, but decides to take her in custody instead. He throws her in the interrogation room and leaves. At Tejawat's haveli, his wife breaks down on hearing the news and Tejawat himself is red with anger. Paro is in denial about the entire incident and murmurs to herself that nothing has really happened. This is just a really bad dream.
Rudra, who is still recovering from the shock of the shootout puts some medicine on his wounds. His subordinate informs him that the bodies of his soldiers have arrived. They go over the names of soldiers that have been killed and he is proud that they sacrificed their lives over this mission.
The mother of one of the dead soldiers arrive. Rudra tells her that only tears of pride should be shed on a war hero's death. The mother slaps him as he is the cause of her son's death. She curses him he will also be snatched from his mother just like her son was snatched from her.
He remembers his past when his mother had left him and gone. Distressed by this memory, he leans against the two-way mirror. Coincidentally, Paro is also crying on the other side of that mirror. Seeing her there, he takes a step back and eventually decides to go and interrogate her.
