Teacher's Day Special: How did Smriti Irani became Mouni Roy's favourite teacher?
The gorgeous Mouni Roy, who is winning appreciation for her performances in 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7' these days, loves Teachers Day.
The actress spoke about the likable teachers she had in her school. Going down the memory lane, Mouni said, “My favourite teacher was Jha Sir. He used to teach us Hindi in school. I have learnt goodness of heart from him before anything else. I love literaturem so both my English and Hindi teachers were my favorites. During my graduation years, I studied English literature as my main disciplines. I used to look forward to pretty much all the lectures and tutorials."
Mouni also shared her favourite teachers from whom she has learnt things in the TV industry. “In the TV industry, the first from whom I have learnt is Smriti Irani (the current Minister of Human Resource Development). I was made wary of her in the beginning but she turned out to be extremely kind and patient with me. She used to pamper me with ice creams treats and I even borrowed books from her. I remember being taught by her how to say my lines or where to give pauses while filming a scene. Because of the lessons I picked up during 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' days, I make sure there aren’t any hierarchies anywhere I work."
Mouni got instant recognition for playing the part of Krishna Tulsi in Ekta Kapoor's superhit TV series 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', co-starring Smriti Irani.
