Raqesh Vashishth to follow Karan Singh Grover’s footsteps by leaving ‘Qubool Hai’!
When we had become used to watching Raqesh Vashishth play the male lead Asad in ‘Qubool Hai’, the news of his impending exit has reached our ears.
Yes, you read it right readers!
The channel’s spokesperson told us that Raqesh is going to leave the show soon as in the forthcoming episodes Asad and Zoya’s (Subhi Jyoti) characters are going to die in a tragic accident. This track is going to be the second leap of the show after the first leap of their daughter’s birth.
Raqesh had even tweeted today to announce the news:
As for Subhi Jyoti, she is going to stay back fortunately, but only to portray as the dead couple’s grown-up daughter much like Drashti Dhami has been doing in Colors’s ‘Madhbala’.
Of the ones who have decided to continue their association with the show are Shalini Kapoor (Dilshad), Amarpali Gupta (Tanveer) and Alka Kaushal (Mumani). We are yet to figure out what’s going to happen with Haider (Mohit Sehgal), Humaira (Ketki Kadam), and Nikhat (Archana Taide) post the leap.
Well, sad news it is for sure but as they say, the show must go on. We wish the makers all the best for the new beginnings and hope that the viewers get used to the changes soon.
