Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi: RV announces decision to marry Ritika on the same date as Ishaani and Shikhar!
In the recent episode, we saw Ishaani finding a quiet corner amidst celebration in Mehra house to have a private conversation with her would-be groom Shikhar. She comes clean about her intention to marry him and shares that RV has still neither moved on with Ritika nor married her till date. Ishaani says that she wants to marry Shikhar so that RV forgets his past and embraces Ritika. She, however assures Shikhar that she will care for him always as his spouse.
Shikhar laughs out hearing Ishaani and assures her that he is aware about the feelings harboured by RV for her and does not care about it. He seeks her permission to allow him to give a fresh start to their relationship so that they could build nice memories together. Shikhar also says that he loves her because she is different and wishes to see if her late father’s philosophy about love would apply well in their marriage as well or not. Ishaani gets satisfied with Shikhar’s reply and leaves with him to mingle with others.
RV gets jealous to hear a portion of Shikhar and Ishaani’s conversation Overcome by passion and envy, he requests for everyone’s attention and then after proposes Ritika for marriage. RV asks her to ‘renew’ their marriage vows on the date chosen by Shikhar and Ishaani for their nuptials.
Ishaani gets teary-eyed to witness this development, while RV notices her reaction with keenness.
